A fairly large group descended upon Yoghurt Pots once again to carry out the all important repair work to the trail. This occurred in the form of more drainage work which in some instances could be described as Somme like conditions. While it has been alluded to on previous posts, it’s not the most glamorous of jobs, particularly if you are insane enough to get up early’ish on a Autumnal Sunday morning and volunteer for these trail repair sessions, but it is very important to maintain the life of a trail.
Some small parts of the trail were re-crafted to improve the flow.
You may have noticed that one particular section of the trail(as you enter the wooded ditch section) has been left alone. This will be the subject of attention for Hurtwood Trails in the near future.
